I want to welcome you to the Lazy Chicken Farm.

Hi my name is Vickie and this is Stormy with me.

Stormy and I would like to say thanks for stopping by.

Stormy is my newest stud colt. He will be used as one of our stallions when he gets older. He is bay with black legs, mane, and tail. He has light brown around his mouth and eyes. He is very well mannered already and such a delight to watch him run through the field. He is going to be a tall boy and I feel that he will produce some great babies some day. I am going to start showing him in the spring along with some of my other registered paints.

Welcome to our farm. We are located 30 miles south of Kansas City Mo and 2 miles north of Cleveland Mo. and we are about 4 miles from the Kansas state line. I have placed some pictures of our registered horses on the home page. And there are additional pages with the horses that we have up for sale, as well as our rescued animals. We have a variety of animals here on the farm, ranging from chickens, horses, cows, pigs, ducks, geese, sheep, rabbits, turkey, cats, and dogs.

This is the future stud of the farm.

Appollo was a yearling on 5/5/06. He is simply goregous and is very loving and sweet. He follows you around in the field like a little puppy. He has a great attitude and loves to please. He learns fast and is going to make me a great riding horse some day. We got him so that we can start breeding Paint horses in the future. His markings along with his attitude tells me that he is going to be a great stud horse. He is so gentle and all we can do is pray that stays with him as he grows up.

As you can see she is going to be a great little paint.

Skye is a beauty she is also a registered paint, her eyes are the color of the sky on a bright summer day. She is going to be a wonderful horse when she grows up. She is still a little shy but we are working on that. She is still a baby. She was a  yearling on 6/25/06. We are working on her ground work she is doing really good so far. I think in a few years she will be kicking out some great looking babies. I am going to start showing her this spring she will be almost 2 at that time.

This Powder she is 4 days old in this pictures.

This is Powder she is our new little mare. She is Skye's half sister and she also has 2 blue eyes. She is not for sale and we will be using her to breed when she gets older.

This is Luna she is 2 weeks old in this pictures.

This is Luna she is another new paint mare. She is not for sale she is going to be trained and  used as a brood mare when old enough. My dream is to raise registered paints that people can buy and have a great horse for showing or for riding. It is going to take a while to get this under way but I will get there in time. She will be a show horse this spring she will be a yearling at this time.
